Our Services

Lifestyle Planning

We offer independent financial advice…and our advice starts with financial lifestyle planning.

We work together to identify (and prioritise) your financial goals and ambitions.

We assess your current financial circumstances and create a plan to get you from now to financial peace of mind.

We can make recommendations of savings vehicles from ISAs to pension contracts and any protection to give reassurance on the way there.

Lastly, we implement the plan on your behalf, monitor it and meet with you regularly to review your needs, revise the plan and make any necessary amendments to your investments and policies.

Savings and Investments

Once we have a financial plan in place, we look to see how your savings can be structured to best meet your personal saving requirements.

We look at the types of savings accounts available, from cash through to investments, and propose a savings vehicle most appropriate for you.

We can advise on investment of the savings to achieve the best return for your circumstances, taking into account your appetite for investment risk and the level of returns you wish to see from your savings.

The future value of investments can fall as well as rise and future growth is not guaranteed.

Retirement Planning

We review your existing retirement provision and assess whether it is sufficient to meet your retirement needs. We then create a plan to keep your retirement saving on track to meet your target.

We can review the existing pension schemes and the investments and suggest any improvements to the tax efficiency and suitable investments to help keep you on course to the retirement you want.

The benefits to the treatment of tax will depend on your individual circumstances and may be subject to change in the future.

Estate Planning

For many, once in retirement, their thoughts turn to leaving a legacy for their family and how that can best be achieved taking into account the conflict of wanting to retain access to the funds for later life and wanting to lessen the impact of inheritance tax on the estate.

We use cash flow modelling to assess what funds might be required throughout life, including any hypothetical scenarios such as care home fees in later life. This helps provide clarity on whether any lifetime gifts could be made, or trusts established in life to benefit the next generation.

We can work with your solicitor to structure your assets to best support any planned gifts, whether to be made in your lifetime or through your Will.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) do not regulate Inheritance Tax Planning, Tax and Trusts and Wills.

Tax Planning

When creating a financial plan and advising on saving vehicles and investments, we always keep the tax efficiency in mind.

Whilst tax efficiency is important, it should not be the driving force of investment decisions and we work with clients to strike a balance between tax efficient, available when required and achieving the expected or required return.

We can work alongside your accountant and other professional advisers to manage tax planning in a joined up manner.

The benefits to the treatment of tax will depend on your individual circumstances and may be subject to change in the future.

Life Cover, Income and Critical Illness Protection

We never want to think about the worst case scenario, but if your partner or children are dependent on your income to fund their financial needs, you may need to consider a form of insurance to protect that income should the worst happen.

There are many types of cover available, from simple life cover to cover in case of illness or incapacity.

We work with clients to assess whether cover is required and find the right combination for their unique needs. Being independent means we can look to any provider to build the cover you need for your peace of mind.
